USCIS to welcome 4000 newly naturalized citizens for Independence Day.
June 30, 2015 – In celebration of the United States Independence Day, the USCIS will welcome 4000 new US citizens. On this special occasion, those who were selected for Citizenship will have the privilege to take the Oath of Allegiance at locations landmark locations such as the New York Public Library, Harold Washington Library Center in Chicago, Seattle Center, the National WWII Museum in New Orleans and the Tower Theater in Miami.
Ceremonies will also be featured at historic sites such as George Washington’s Mount Vernon in Virginia; Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello in Charlottesville, Virginia; and the USS Midway in San Diego, California.
